Dear Judy and Keba family
Please know you are in our thoughts at this sad time.

Please accept our deepest condolences
Auntie Ella was the last surviving member of the venerable MacDonald Family , born and bred in Montreal
All us cousins have wonderful memories of the numerous vacations we spent together
Not only memories were made. Ella's sister Peggy, my Mother, made sure that everything was filmed for prosperity
I have only the fondest of memories of the times we spent in Branchville and the times the Keba's came to see us in Montreal or at the cottage
When we love someone who is in Heaven, we have a piece of Heaven in our heart

Ellen was a kind and loving soul. I was privileged to have her as my mother-in-law. She was most helpful and fun during her stay in our young family’s home. We very much enjoyed her help, guidance, cooking, and good spirits. I grew then and still do now think of her as my friend. A friend dearly missed and one that will live on in my heart forever.

My deepest condolences to the family on the passing of aunt Ella. I have only the warmest of memories of her. Her sense of humour stands out as one of her most memorable traits. She will be missed.

I would like to pass along my sincere condolences to all the Keba family. Auntie Ella was a wonderful aunt and I will always remember her wit and go with the flow attitude. She spent the ice storm of '98 with us and I must say that Canadian disaster was made more bearable by having Ella in our midst. She will be missed but needless to say everyone was touched by crossing her path.
