Deborah T. McGowan, 62, of the Lake Tranquility section of Green Township passed away Monday, February 13, 2017, in Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital in Dover.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Deborah lived in Andover Borough before moving to Lake Tranquility almost two years ago. She worked in the Central Supply Department at Newton Medical Center. A member of the Eastern Star, Deborah was also a former Andover Borough Councilwoman.

The daughter of the late Robert and Mary Lou (nee Mayo) Stanton, Deborah was also predeceased by her in-laws, Jack and Carol McGowan, and her brother-in-law, Jack.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; her children, Joshua LeDrew and wife, Susan,
of Jacksonville, Florida, Julie Willis and husband, Jeremy, of Lake Tranquility and Jonathan LeDrew and companion, Erika; and eight grandchildren, Alexis, Caitlin, Claire, Austin, Jonathan, Logan, Sophia and Alexandria. She is also survived by five sisters, Christy, Pam, Leslie, Barrie and Jen; one brother-in-law, Terry; three sisters-in-law, Maureen, Laurie and Sharon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 20, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, Route 517, Andover Borough, followed by an 11 a.m. Memorial Mass at the church. Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton.
