Gloria F. (Clark) Hill, age 83, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at the Homestead Rehabilitation and Health Center in Frankford Township.

Born in Hamburg, Gloria was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Conklin) Clark and was a lifetime resident of Sussex County. She was a member of the Baleville Congregational Christian Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and a Deacon for many years. Gloria was also a volunteer at Newton Memorial Hospital. She loved cats, a clean house, chatting with friends and family on the phone, and sharing pictures of her grandchildren.

Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Howard R. Hill, on June 1, 2015, whom she was married to for 57 years; her brother, Robert Clark; and her sisters, Dorothy Quinn and Carol Luna. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Hill-Rosato, of Bangor, Pennsylvania; her son, John Hill, of Bucksport, Maine; her sisters, Marilyn Martin, of Norfolk, Virginia, and Audrey Bootsma, of Mt. Holly; her three grandchildren, Christopher Hill, Domenick Rosato, and Salvator Rosato; as well as a great-grandson, Connor Hill.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2017, at the Baleville Congregational Christian Church, 6 Church Road, Hampton Township. Interment will follow in Frankford Plains Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, January 2, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
