"And I would choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I'd find you and I'd choose you." -Chaos of Stars

Joseph Rowe, 43, of Byram Twp. died on Friday, November 11, 2016. Our family is devastated. I can't find the words to express how much he was loved. It is impossible to sum up his life in this short paragraph. I could say that he loved being outside, he loved his dogs, he loved horses, and was great at his job. I could say that he was a hard worker who took care of his family to the very end, that he loved children, camping and riding his ATV; it would all be true, but that isn't enough. He was so much more than all of that to so many people. He was a friend, he was the rock you could count on, and he gave the best hugs when you had a bad day; Joe never met a stranger and always helped whenever he could. He had a smile that lit up a room and a heart of gold. He made me laugh, made me crazy, told it like it was, but he was real. There was no one like him, and I can't imagine a world without him in it.

There are no words to express how much he will be missed or how much he was loved. Joe meant so much to so many people. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, cousin, uncle, grandson, nephew, son-in-law, brother-in-law, and friend. He loved his family deeply, especially our two beautiful children Catherine and Benjamin. He was so proud of them and loved them very much. They miss him terribly and I ache with sadness that they will have to grow up without him.
We are so grateful for all of the family and friends who have helped us and grieved with us as we try to move forward and keep going without him. I will always carry him in my heart. No matter what, he was the love of my life. I hope he has found the peace he so desperately sought.

In his memory, help each other when you can. Say what's in your heart, be a friend to someone who needs it. You never know when you will have another chance.

He leaves behind his wife of 15 years, Jennifer (nee Coulter) Rowe; his children, Catherine and Benjamin Rowe; his parents, Richard and Barbara (nee Karol) Rowe Sr; his brother Richard Rowe, Jr; his sister Christine McLoughlin and her husband, Victor; and his nephews, Spencer, Russell, and Garrett McLoughlin.

Services and interment are private at the convenience of the family and are under the direction of the Smith-McCracken, 63 High Street, Newton.
