Linda J. Paino, 78, of the Swartswood Lake section of Hampton Township, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Barn Hill Care Center in Newton.

Born in Franklin, Linda moved to Hampton Township in 1959. She was a paralegal secretary for the former Kay & Strelzik Law Firm in Newton.

The daughter of the late John and Etta (nee Rutan) Terwilliger, Linda was also predeceased by three sisters, Connie Banghart, Vivian Rousset and Judy Freeman.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph V. Paino, of the Swartswood Lake section of Hampton Township; three sons, Joseph Paino, Jr., and wife, Maria C., of Hardwick Township, Stephen Paino and wife, Barbara, of Stillwater and Charles Paino of Hampton Township; four grandchildren, Cassidy and Stephen Paino, Michael Ferraro and Jennifer Mathura; three great-grandchildren, Adriana Mathura, Alex Mathura and Parker Ferraro; and two brothers, John Terwilliger of Pennsylvania and Ed Terwilliger and wife, Deb, of Blairstown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016, at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton. Entombment will follow in
St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
