Martha Ann Gallik Finn, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at NHC - Merihil Nursing Home in Lewisburg, TN.

Mrs. Finn was born August 2, 1926 to John Steven and Sophia Krisack Gallik at the Village of Steene on the farm in Waymart, PA. Martha Ann had a very active life. She was a purchasing agent for Xertron, an elementary teacher, a volunteer for the Good Samaritan, a Girl Scout Leader, a Cub Scout Leader and a member of St John Catholic Church in Lewisburg, TN.

Mrs. Finn was preceded in death by her first husband, John Paul Bachmann, a WWII Veteran, and her second husband, James Patrick Finn, as well as by two stepsons, James and Timothy Finn, two sisters, Veronica Dahlhaus, Margaret Sanchez, two brothers, Thomas Gallik and Frank Gallik, and a granddaughter, Lisa M. Zwiren.

Surviving her is one son, John Bachmann, of Lewisburg, TN; two daughters, Janet B. Straightarrow, of Madison, and Nancy B. (Alan) Podkowka, of Lafayette; one stepson, Patrick Finn, of Strasburg, PA; one brother, John Gallik, of Honesdale, PA; five sisters, Sophie Benney, of Glen Burnie, MD, Rose Carson, of Waymart, PA, Cecelia Janezic, of Yardley, PA, Mary Davitt, of Youngsville, NY, and Adele Mansfield, of Odenton, MD. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Paula M. Zwiren, of West Orange, Alana P. (Tim) Batko, of Montague, Ashley E. Podkowka, of Montague, and two great-grandchildren, Zosia Batko and Amalia Batko.

Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2016, at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton. Visitation will be held Monday, June 27, 2016, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Services will also be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and Crematory in Lewisburg, TN (www.billsmcgaugh.com).
