Andrew F. Latincsics, 50, of Hampton Township, died Monday, June 20, 2016, at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville.

Born in Pequannock, Mr. Latincsics was raised in Ringwood and after marrying his high school sweetheart in 1990, lived with his wife, Dawn, in Vernon for nine years before moving to Hampton Township seventeen years ago. He received his Bachelor's of Science from Ramapo College in 1989 and received his Masters in Education from William Paterson University in 2001. He was inducted into the Ramapo College Hall of Fame for cross country running in 2006.

Mr. Latincsics was a physics and chemistry teacher at Morris County School of Technology (MCST) for the past eleven years, where he was named Teacher of the Year in 2007. He coached MCST's cross country team for many years. He had previously been employed as a chemistry teacher at John F. Kennedy High School, Randolph High School and Lenape Valley Regional High School.

An accomplished runner, Mr. Latincsics was also a certified official for track and cross county, a soccer coach for Hampton Township children's soccer and enjoyed cycling as well. He was an avid Mets fan and also a lifelong fan and shareholder of the Green Bay Packers.

The son of the late Nandor K. Latincsics (1991), Mr. Latincsics is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dawn (nee Frederick) Latincsics; his two children, Tyler Latincsics and Molly Latincsics; his mother, Elizabeth Latincsics of Franklin Lakes; three brothers, Peter Latincsics of West Willington, Connecticut, Tibor Latincsics of Wayne, and Ervin Latincsics; his sister, Nelly Maccaro of Sparta; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Baleville Congregational Church, 6 Church Road, Hampton Township. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Friday, June 24, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the church.
