Mary Clarity, 75, of Byram Township, died Monday, June 13, 2015, at Newton Medical Center with her daughters by her side.

Born in Newark, Mary lived in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn, New York before moving to Byram Township 43 years ago. However, she always considered herself a "New Yorker". She worked at The Hartford Insurance Company in Rockaway as an assistant supervisor and retired in 1996. Mary loved to travel especially to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Her interests included seeing Broadway plays, gardening, home improvement projects, decorating for all seasons and researching the stock market. Mary was the President of the Fortune Seekers Stock Club. She also enjoyed a good debate on politics. Mary will be remembered for her kind heart and sharp wit.

The daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (nee Ross) Lapsley, Mary was also predeceased by her husband, Edward Orr, in 1967. She is survived by her two daughters, Kim Drew and Chris Orr, as well her grandson, Sean Drew.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016, from 11:30 am until 12 noon at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, Route 517, Andover Borough, followed by a 12 noon Memorial Mass at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
